Max: Hey Sophie! What's up?
Sophie: Oh, hi Max! It's the graduation party. It feels like we're not getting anywhere with the organization.
Max: Yeah, I know what you mean. But I actually had a meeting with our principal, Mr. Harrison, yesterday. He gave me some more details.
Sophie: Really? That's great! I was starting to feel nervous that we won't have enough time to prepare. So, what did he say?
Max: Well, first off, he confirmed the date. It's going to be on Saturday, June 14th, in the school hall — just like we thought.
Sophie: Okay, that's good to know for sure. What about the music? That's what I'm most worried about.
Max: Right. Mr. Harrison said the school has a list of local DJs we can contact. Apparently some of them have worked with the school before and are quite good.
Sophie: Oh, that's helpful! Do we have their contact information?
Max: Yes, he gave me a sheet with their names and numbers. I can share it with you later.
Sophie: Perfect! Maybe we can listen to some of their mixes online, if they have any.
Max: Good idea! He also mentioned that we need to decide on the decorations soon. There's a budget for it, but we need to come up with some ideas.
Sophie: Decorations... Hmm. I was thinking maybe something simple, but elegant? Like fairy lights and some balloons in our school colors?
Max: That sounds nice, Sophie. Easy to set up, too. What about food and drinks? Is the school providing anything?
Sophie: That's what I asked Mrs. Davis last week. She said the school will provide some basic snacks and soft drinks, but if we want anything extra, we need to arrange it ourselves.
Max: Okay. So, maybe we can ask everyone in our year to chip in a small amount, and we can order some pizzas or something?
Sophie: That's a possibility. We should probably get an idea of how many people are actually coming first. Have the invitations gone out yet?
Max: Not yet. Mr. Harrison said they'll be sent out next week. We need to finalize the details before that.
Sophie: Right, right. So, to recap, we have the date and location confirmed. We have a list of DJs to contact, and we need to think more about decorations and food.
Max: Exactly!
Sophie: Sounds like a plan, Max! I feel much better, now that we have a clearer direction. Thanks for talking to Mr. Harrison.
Max: No problem, Sophie! We'll make sure it's a great party.
Sophie: I'm sure we will! Let's meet up again tomorrow after classes to go through the DJ list?
Max: See you then.
Sophie: Bye!
